Romania receives accreditation for family center

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Romania launched a safe house for victims of gender violence earlier this year, providing a home and legal resources for abused women and children. Cornel Roman, director for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) in Romania, Mihaela Mostavi, president of the National Agency for Family Protection in Romania and Nelu Burcea, communication director for the Adventist Church in Romania, cut the ribbon for the newly-opened ADRA House. The family center offers victims of domestic violence shelter and legal aid during their recovery process.
